Just Few hours ago  Apple has released a new firmware 3.0.1 and all the iPhone users are advised to update their device to fix SMS vulnerability discovered by Chris Miller  yesterday’s @ Black Hat cybersecurity conference which allow attackers to gain control of your whole iPhone.

The question in the minds of those users who own a Jailbroken iPhone is  will upgrading to iPhone OS 3.0.1 will lose jailbreak and unlocked ?

Infact after upgrading  your iPhone OS to 3.0.1, you will lose your Jailbreak & Unlocked but there is no need to worry as the Dev Team reported that it is safe to update your iPhone to OS 3.0.1 as  Redsn0w 0.8 & Ultrasn0w 0.9 still works on iPhone OS 3.0.1 and iPhone 3GS..

So no need to worry if you own a jailbroken iPhone,Go ahead and upgrade your iPhoneto OS 3.0.1.
