FirePassword: Recover Stored Firefox Passwords

FirePassword is a command line application designed to decrypt the username and password list from the Firefox sign-on database.

FirePassword tool can decrypt and display these secrets on the same lines as the Firefox built-in password manager and it does not require Firefox to be running.

New version of FirePassword comes with support for latest operating system Windows 7.

Mozilla designer Stephen Horlander has posted some UI concepts for Mozilla Firefox 4.0 on his blog.

The new UI for Firefox 4.0 have a new App Button in similar vein to Office 2010 and WordPad/Paint in Windows and this will replace the file menu.

Another note is the Toolbar buttons, which have a new glossy appearance and have a shade of blue compared to the original grey. The site status bar is now coloured vividly to show a site’s security credentials, along with the URL.
